Claudia Des Rosiers
Special Projects Coordinator
Raised in Haiti, Claudia learned from a very young age that the environment was something to protect and nurture. She had witnessed Natural Disasters and Food Insecurity, and innately wanted to be part of the solution. Being sent to the States to be educated after Haiti’s 2010 earthquake gave her the opportunity to raise her voice and engage in projects to educate residents of both her home country and local community around sustainability, from deforestation to urban food production.
Prior to joining the team at Imagine Farms, Claudia held a Research and Program assistant position at the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC). She helped manage multiple community-led projects and provided administration, logistical, research, and programmatic support. She is an experienced Assistant Accountant, supporting supervisors by researching, tracking, and resolving accounting discrepancies. She also has a strong familiarity with working in chemistry labs where she had to ensure SOP and compliance for a variety of chemicals.
At Imagine Farms, Claudia is the Special Projects Coordinator. In this role, she performs a wide range of advanced project work for the team by managing specific projects with different deliverables. She uses her organizational skills to better prepare reports and assist with research and data analysis. She has a good sense of project management, administrative and logistical support.
Claudia speaks English, French, and Haitian Creole and has extensive academic and volunteer experience in environmental and community-based projects. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida, an OSHA Outreach Certification for General Industry, and Hydroponic GAP Certification from Ohio State University.
