Even though we are living in forever summer we're feeling the change of season. Cruising into Fall we find ourselves hard at work and grateful for the opportunity to build something valuable and nourishing for our community. And, we want to let you in on a little secret; Madruga Bakery carries containers of our ‘Happiness Blend’ in their online store available for pick up next to their amazing fresh loaves of bread and outrageous baked goods.
We continue to be inspired by the local organizations working with sustained focus and commitment to nourish our community. Food Rescue US Miami has set up several community kitchens employing restaurant workers and serving hearty meals made from scratch. The Urban Oasis Project has expanded its program distributing Food Justine Veggie Boxes and recently launched Grow Roots Miami, a comprehensive program building veggie gardens at the homes of families in need.
With our kids going back to school, Lisa had the opportunity to share her tips for supporting our families heading into a new season with The Florida Villager, Pinecrest edition. She shares her knowledge as a Certified Holistic Health Coach for supporting physical and mental resilience, sustained focus, and attention with thoughtful food choices.
